Synopsis :
The Big Trail is a classic Western Movie starring John Wayne in a large-scale Oregon Trail adventure.
Directed by Raoul Walsh, the film features Marguerite Churchill, El Brendel, and Tully Marshall, and it gave Wayne his first leading role. He plays Breck Coleman, a trail scout guiding a wagon train across rivers, plains, mountains, and hostile frontier conditions. The settlers hope for a new life in the West, but their journey is tested by hardship, betrayal, and the vast uncertainty of migration. Wayne, later known for Stagecoach, The Searchers, and True Grit, appears here at the beginning of his leading-man career.
