BIOS is the first thing that runs when you hit that power button, but most people have no idea how it actually stores your password. You're not supposed to be able to bypass it, but today we’re looking at the architecture behind the lock.

We're not guessing passwords. We're attacking the storage itself. Using a CH341A programmer, I'll show you exactly how to bypass BIOS security by targeting the NVRAM directly. This is the "lowest hanging fruit" in hardware security, and once you understand how the logic gate works, you'll never look at a locked laptop the same way again.
