like many industries, hollywood has a habit of excluding anyone who doesn't fit into a very specific mold, and for years, the asian community was either ignored entirely or limited to a racist caricature. today we decided to take a look at the evolution of asian representation in hollywood, from the early silent film stars like sessue hayakawa and anna may wong to the smash hits of the 20020s like everything everywhere all at once and parasite.
