Pam Jones of Piedmont, Alabama, shares the story of her son, Dan Jones—a gifted mechanic, Army Depot employee, devoted uncle, and loving son whose life was cut short by illicit fentanyl. After battling depression, anxiety, and opioid addiction, Dan courageously admitted he needed help, completed rehabilitation, embraced recovery, and dreamed of speaking to young people about the dangers of addiction so others would not follow the same path. Tragically, after weeks of progress, a single relapse involving fentanyl claimed his life.
