A gifted athlete, star quarterback, honors student, and beloved friend, Conner struggled with self-doubt and addiction despite his many accomplishments and the bright future everyone believed he had ahead of him. Rebecca opens up about the warning signs she missed, the challenges of navigating addiction as a parent, and the devastating reality of fentanyl and substance abuse affecting families from every background. Through her grief, she now hopes to honor Conner’s memory by reaching young people and parents with a message about mental health, peer pressure, addiction, and the importance of early intervention before it’s too late.
