We’re back in the lab working on the V2 motor / energy generator, and this project is moving into one of the most exciting stages yet.

The rotors are here.

The magnets are going in.

And now we need to make sure everything is mechanically secured before we can push forward with final assembly and testing.

In this episode, I take you behind the scenes as we work on the V2 rotor assembly and begin epoxying the magnets into the solid steel rotors. With a machine like this, mechanical construction matters just as much as the electrical engineering. These rotors will eventually be operating at significant rotational speeds, so magnet placement, alignment, retention, balance, and overall rotor construction are critical.

This is what real prototyping looks like.

It isn't just a finished machine sitting on a bench. It's months of engineering, CAD design, machining, electronics, PCB development, coil design, mechanical fabrication, testing, failures, redesigns, and countless small decisions that eventually turn an idea into a physical experiment.
