Stephen King’s Children of the Corn became one of horror’s strangest franchises. After the 1984 original, Dimension and Miramax helped turn the series into a seemingly endless run of theatrical and straight-to-video sequels with almost no continuity, increasingly loose connections to King’s story, and appearances from future stars including Charlize Theron, Naomi Watts and Eva Mendes.
