On this episode of Two Tickets Please!, in Part One of our recap of the 2026 Wisconsin Film Festival, host Josiah Wampfler breaks down a couple of his favorite films from the festival and is joined by two great writers and cinephiles from Madison, Grant Phipps and Jason Fuhrman, as they talk about some of their highlights from the fest.

Josiah dives into his appreciation of Romanian filmmaker Radu Jude's newest, "Kontinental '25" and the captivating essay film from first time Lebanese director Lana Daher, "Do You Love Me." Jason discusses Nastia Korkia's contemplative "Short Summer" François Ozon's adaptation of a literary classic in "The Stranger". And Grant talks about his experience with a short film collection from a renowned Chicago filmmaker, "Love It / Leave It : Tom Palazzolo's America".
