Would you buy or sell when price is trapped inside a consolidation zone?

Many traders rush into trades while the market is moving sideways, only to get caught in false breakouts, liquidity grabs, and choppy price action.

The higher-probability approach is often much simpler:

✅ Identify key support and resistance levels
✅ Wait for a confirmed breakout
✅ Let price retest the broken level
✅ Look for confirmation before entering

In this example, price broke above resistance, turning a former ceiling into potential support. Rather than chasing the breakout, the focus was on waiting for the retest, allowing risk to be defined and the setup to develop with greater confirmation.

Successful trading isn't about predicting every move. It's about waiting for the market to reveal its intentions and then executing with discipline.
