Today's story is from Karnataka. Not far from Bengaluru lies Shivamogga district, and within this district is a place called Bhadravati.

This is from January 2020, around January 18th. 26-year-old Flora Nancy, a nurse by profession, arrives at a local police station. There, she tells the police that her husband has been missing for the past three days. She had already tried hard to find him. She had also asked around among his friends, but no one had any information. The last time he was seen, he had left with an auto driver, and there had been no trace of him since.

Police registered her complaint and started the investigation. Nearby police stations were also alerted to immediately share any information if they came across anything. Before moving forward with the story, let's first understand a little about the people at the center of this entire case.

In the Paper Town police station area of Bhadravati, there's a locality called Surgi Topo. On Second Cross Road in this very locality stood a house where Prakash Babu lived with his family. Prakash Babu was 36 years old. His wife, Flora Nancy, was about 10 years younger than him, at 26. Besides the two of them, a few other family members also lived in the same house.

The two got married in 2014 at MPM Kalyana Mandap. This marriage had the family's approval. Whether it was an arranged marriage or a love marriage isn't made clear.After the wedding, Prakash's family responsibilities increased, and he wanted to earn more. That's why, in 2014 itself, he moved to Dubai, where he landed a decent job.

Flora, on the other hand, wanted to build her career in the medical field. While living in Dubai, Prakash got her admitted to Ambedkar School of Nursing.
