Enter the disturbing and bizarre world of Blood Salvage (1990), a cult horror-comedy that turns a quiet rural salvage yard into the center of a terrifying secret.

Jake "Diddy" Pruitt runs a country salvage yard with his sons Hiram and Roy. But the family business has another, much darker side.

When unsuspecting travelers cross their path, the Pruitts don't simply tow their vehicles away. They kidnap their victims and take them back to the barn, where Jake conducts horrifying medical experiments and operates a secret organ-trafficking business.

Everything seems to be going according to plan until the family targets April Evans, a wheelchair-bound young woman who proves far more difficult to control than they expected.

Soon, the Evans family finds themselves trapped in a nightmare involving kidnapping, medical experiments, stolen organs and a deeply disturbed family determined to keep their operation running.

Directed by Tucker Johnston, Blood Salvage was released in 1990 and runs approximately 98 minutes. The cast includes Danny Nelson, Lori Birdsong, John Saxon, Ray Walston, Christian Hesler and Ralph Pruitt Vaughn.

The movie is also notable for its unusual connection to boxing legend Evander Holyfield, who served as an executive producer and appears in the film as a boxer.
