Somerset, October 2014. When Clover Catto receives a call informing her that her younger brother Harry has died, she is forced to return to the family farm she left behind years ago and confront her estranged father, Aubrey. Coming back to a place transformed by catastrophic floods that devastated the region only six months earlier, Clover finds her home and her father both deeply altered, Aubrey now a haunted and broken man. As she slowly uncovers the truth of what happened during her absence and the circumstances surrounding Harry’s death, Clover and Aubrey begin to rebuild a fragile connection.
