✦ SYNOPSIS ✦
Captain Thorne Sherman finds himself stranded by a hurricane on a remote, isolated island. He soon discovers that a well-meaning scientist, in a misguided attempt to solve world overpopulation, has accidentally created a pack of giant, ravenous, and highly venomous shrews! With no way off the island, Sherman and the survivors must barricade themselves inside the compound and survive the night.

Watch closely for two legendary television icons! Before he was the bumbling Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane on The Dukes of Hazzard, James Best played the handsome and heroic Captain Sherman. And before stealing our hearts as the lovable Festus on Gunsmoke, Ken Curtis (who also produced the film) shows off his acting range by playing the thoroughly unlikable antagonist, Jerry Farrell.
