Around 252 million years ago, Earth was recovering from the deadliest extinction event in history.

The planet was hot, dry, and dominated by the supercontinent Pangaea. Life was nearly destroyed, but it survived.

Over millions of years, reptiles spread, marine reptiles entered the oceans, the first true mammals appeared, and the earliest dinosaurs began to evolve.

This was the Triassic Period. The beginning of a new world, and the rise of the age of dinosaurs.
