When a known voice calls you from an unknown number, your first instinct is often to trust the voice, not question it.

Voice cloning fraud relies on this trust and quick reactions. Fraudsters may impersonate friends or family members and create fake emergencies to convince victims to transfer money or share confidential information.

Remember:
???? Never transfer money just based on a call or voice message.
???? Hang up and call their saved number
???? Cross-check with a mutual family contact

If you suspect fraud, report it immediately at 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.
