Field reverse configuration fusion is where to look. Helium fusion and Tri Alpha Energy have working reactors under contract already. It uses a high beta concept, the ratio of plasma pressure to magnetic field strength. Think of a seesaw balanced perfectly level, that's high beta. You want beta of one, and reaching it pushes out all the magnetic fields. The secret is it pushes out zero point energy too. The Air Force Research Lab paper by Jack and Champion says this is true. That makes high beta plasma a zero point energy pump. Push the energy out, it returns, and that return is force, work you can harness. A trampoline effect pulling energy from the vacuum. That's why fusion has been so elusive. Real fusion, not tokamak garbage, will be a free energy machine.
