Synopsis:
Rage at Dawn is a classic blend of Western action, outlaw crime, undercover investigation, train robbery, and justice-driven revenge, directed by Tim Whelan and starring Randolph Scott, Forrest Tucker, Mala Powers, and J. Carrol Naish. Released in 1955 with a runtime of approximately 87 minutes, this vintage Western follows special agent James Barlow, who is sent to infiltrate the notorious Reno Brothers gang after their brutal robberies and violent crimes spread fear across the frontier.
Disguised as an outlaw, Barlow enters a dangerous world of betrayal, corruption, and gunfire, where one wrong move could expose his true identity. As he gets closer to the gang and becomes involved with Laura Reno, the sister of the outlaws, his mission becomes more complicated and deadly. What begins as an undercover operation turns into a tense Western showdown about loyalty, deception, love, and justice. Before dawn breaks, Barlow must bring down the Reno Brothers—or be destroyed by the very gang he came to stop.
