Security researcher Nightmare-Eclipse has released a proof of concept for RoguePlanet, a new Windows zero-day that exploits a race condition to spawn a command shell with system-level privileges. The release comes just after Microsoft patched a record 206 CVEs, and the researcher claims to have more unaddressed Defender vulnerabilities in reserve.
