????️While living and painting in the Camargue district of France, American artist Geoff Farrell (Kerwin Mathews), falls in love with Eve Beynat (Nadia Gray), the sensual owner of a local cafe. As Eve's pretty stepdaughter, Annette (Liliane Brousse), becomes bitterly aware of their love affair, her father, Georges Beynat (Donald Houston), kills a male nurse after escaping from a criminal asylum where he was sent for a fiendish revenge-murder. When a maniac initiates a reign of terror that menaces the entire countryside, the police naturally suspect Beynat, until the evidence begins to suggest otherwise. And only after Farrell and Annette each narrowly escape death at the hands of the killer can Police Inspector Etienne reveal the crazed murder's true identity and capture his female accomplice.
