Synopsis: Fast-rising comedians Dennis Padilla and Janno Gibbs took on the spotlight in this movie, which was their first screen team-up. The wacky duo played small-time con-men who, for a quick buck, would do anything or become anything. While at times successful, there were also dangers to their kind of operation, such as when, while pretending to be doctors, they were kidnapped by members of a rebel group to operate on their ailing leader. How they got out of that one was part of the fun of "Mandurugas."
