Man In The Dark (1953) starring Audrey Totter, Edmond O'Brien, & Dan Riss is a classic crime drama movie in which, O'Brien is a mobster who goes under the knife to have his memory altered to make him forget his past. His former gangster pals kidnap him and try to force him to locate $130,000 in stashed cash. He gets the money back and, after a hair-raising chase, returns it to the wronged insurance company.
