Karuthamma (கருத்தம்மா) is a 1994 Indian Tamil film directed by Bharathiraja from a story by M. Rathnakumar. The film stars Raja, Rajashree and Maheswari, with Saranya, Periyar Dasan, Ponvannan, Vadivukkarasi, Vaani, Vadivelu, and Janagaraj in supporting roles.

A woman, who lives in a village where female infanticide is a common practice, goes to great lengths to get justice when her sister and her newborn child are murdered in cold blood.
