I went into In Bruges (2008) genuinely needing a dark comedy, and apparently that was the exact right headspace for this one. It is so dark and so strange... this also felt like one of those movies where I could hear my brother laughing with me the whole time, which made me like it even more. Who knew dark comedy might be my genre too?
