Pollster Sophie Stowers from More in Common appeared on Politics Live to discuss Andy Burnham’s performance in the polls after the summer recess.

Sophie Stowers said voters are currently willing to give the prime minister “a hearing” but he will be judged on whether he makes “headway” on key issues like the NHS, immigration and the cost of living.

Presenter Vicki Young was also joined by Labour MP Dawn Butler, Conservative MP and frontbencher Helen Whately and political commentator Sonia Sodha.
