Here is how to turn off “Instants” on Instagram
Instagram’s new “Instants” feature is here, but it comes with a privacy catch. (And it’s annoying in my opinion)????

Instants lets you send disappearing photos in your DMs, basically turning Instagram into Snapchat.

What does this mean for you?
1️⃣ The Privacy Illusion: Disappearing photos aren’t truly gone. Anyone can take a picture of their screen with another device.
2️⃣ Less Security: Without end-to-end encryption, your DMs (and your Instants) are no longer fully private. Meta has more access to your data than before.
3️⃣ You Can Opt Out: Don’t want to use it? Go to Settings, Content Preferences , Toggle “Hide Instants in Inbox.”
