The true identity of Grant, the Iron-Masked Man, is finally revealed.
Phelan, Grant, and Elena were childhood friends who grew up together and shared an unbreakable bond. One day, the three were assigned a dangerous mission. During the operation, Grant was captured by the enemy and struck down in Phelan and Elena’s face. Believing that Grant had sacrificed himself to save them, the two left the battlefield overwhelmed by grief and guilt.
Years later, Elena received a mysterious mission that placed her in an impossible position. She chose to carry the burden alone and told Phelan nothing. While they carried out separate assignments, Phelan remained unaware that the target he had been ordered to kill was Elena herself.
Meanwhile, Grant had survived. Naro had secretly rescued him and concealed the truth from everyone. Naro alone knew that Grant was still alive. On the day of the mission, Naro told Grant that his two closest friends were in grave danger on the battlefield. Grant immediately rushed to save them.

Years later, Phelan had a son named Reynor. He never revealed his true identity to either his wife or his child. But tragedy soon found him again.
Greed awakened the darkness in the human heart. Phelan’s father-in-law discovered that he was a member of the Drakenhart clan and betrayed him to Naro’s soldiers, hoping to exchange Phelan’s life for money.

Present Timeline:
Conrad Highwing proceeds with the wedding of his son Ambrose and Liana Naro. However, he has no idea that Ambrose and Captain Black have already planned a conspiracy to overthrow his rule.
Their plan began the moment Reynor fell into the abyss. Ambrose secretly rescued him.
Ambrose despises what his family has become and has always wanted to bring down his father’s regime. He is disgusted by Conrad’s willingness to sacrifice his family’s happiness to achieve his ambitions. But Ambrose cannot defeat his father alone. He needs the combined strength of Reynor, Black, and their allies.
To gain Conrad Highwing’s trust, Black offers him a dragon and pretends to pledge his loyalty. Meanwhile, Ambrose saves Reynor at the moment of his greatest danger and reveals his true purpose to Liana Naro.
