Two survivor groups—a gang of college dropouts and a suburban family of preppers—are forced to unite when a mysterious virus turns the west coast into a zombie-infested war zone. Their uneasy alliance is tested by clashing egos, dwindling supplies, and relentless undead attacks. This zombie action comedy movie unfolds with guerrilla-style chaos, dark humor, and improvised gags that play with genre expectations.
