This fast-paced, relentless backwoods slasher turns an innocent childhood story into a brutal survival nightmare. Hoping to break an explosive new case, a true-crime investigative crew heads deep into the remote woods to track down the truth behind a series of local, unexplained disappearances. Their investigation leads them straight to an isolated homestead—but they quickly realize the dark legends are real.

Inside, they cross paths with Mary and uncover the unhinged, violent truth behind her little lamb. Surrounded by deep wilderness and targeted by an axe-wielding psychopath wearing a twisted animal mask, the crew finds themselves completely hunted. As the night closes in, they must find a way to escape the tree line before they become the next permanent chapter of the story.
