Day 1 | Building Multiple Risk-to-Reward Trading Strategies
• Bias: Bearish
• Entry: 15-Minute Trendline Rejection | Sell
• Risk: 20-point SL for 1:1 and 1:2 | 10-point SL for 1:4
1:1 Risk-to-Reward: Breakeven
1:2 Risk-to-Reward: Breakeven
1:4 Risk-to-Reward: Not Started
The Asian session was bearish, so I was looking for sell-side setups. During the London session, price rejected the trendline on the 15-minute chart, giving me a sell entry.
Both the 1:1 and 1:2 trades moved into profit, but after price reached a major support level, I moved the SL to breakeven. The trailing SL was later hit, so both trades closed at breakeven.
The 1:4 Risk-to-Reward system has not been started yet.
Observation: The market direction and entry were correct, but when price reaches a major support or resistance level, taking the exit can be considered instead of continuing to hold the trade.
