In this video, I’m sharing the final driver circuit for my MEG system — a design that took three weeks of testing, rebuilding, and tuning to stabilize.
From the 4047 oscillator to the gate driver and the MOSFET stage, every part of this circuit was refined to produce clean, reliable switching across a wide frequency range.
We check the oscillator output from 50 Hz up to 197 kHz, verify the gate‑driver waveform, and finally observe the MOSFET output — which remains clean even without the 50‑volt coil supply connected.
This driver is now stable, predictable, and ready for the next phase of the MEG project.
