Deep in the tropical forests of Borneo, Bento grows up under the protection of his mother Princess, who teaches him how to climb, build nests, and find food in a jungle that is becoming increasingly hostile.
But drought, wildfires, and deforestation suddenly turn their lives upside down. Separated from his mother in the middle of the flames, the young orangutan must survive alone before being rescued and eventually reintroduced into the wild.
