Synopsis :
Harpreet “Happy” Kaur (Diana Penty) is a free-spirited and outspoken Punjabi girl from Amritsar who refuses to be tied down by her father’s wishes. She’s supposed to marry Daman Singh Bagga (Jimmy Sheirgill), a local politician, but her heart belongs to Guddu (Ali Fazal), a struggling musician.

On her wedding day, Happy plans to run away with Guddu — but in a comic twist, she accidentally lands in Lahore, Pakistan, inside the house of Bilal Ahmed (Abhay Deol), the son of a Pakistani governor. Bilal, a calm and responsible man engaged to Zoya (Momal Sheikh), suddenly finds himself in the middle of chaos as he tries to help Happy return to India without causing a diplomatic scandal.

As Happy’s disappearance causes confusion on both sides of the border — with Bagga and Guddu trying to find her and the Pakistani authorities getting suspicious — a chain of humorous and heartwarming events unfold.
