Israeli Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir openly challenging Trump over Lebanon should tell the world everything it needs to know.

Trump says Israel must stop escalating with Lebanon. Ben-Gvir’s response is basically: no, we will keep destroying homes in southern Lebanon, and we will not allow people to return, even if Trump disagrees.

Imagine saying that openly.

Imagine a government minister defending the destruction of homes and the prevention of civilians returning to their own land, while the world still pretends this is “self-defense” and saves its harshest labels for Iran.

This is the hypocrisy people are tired of.

When Iran speaks, the world calls it terrorism. When Israeli ministers openly talk about destruction, displacement, and permanent pressure on civilian areas, suddenly everyone becomes quiet, careful, and diplomatic.

Human rights cannot depend on who is doing the bombing. International law cannot apply only to America’s enemies.

If destroying homes and blocking people from returning is wrong, then it is wrong no matter who does it.
