After down-on-his-luck newspaper reporter Jacob Harker (Rob Boltin) loses his job, he and his wife Haley (Gwendolyn Edwards) are forced to move into a modest, isolated rental house owned by the mysterious Webster Cain (Michael Monks). While attempting to rebuild their lives, Jacob discovers a discarded vintage audio recording in the basement belonging to Carol James (Hannah Hughes), a beautiful 1960s blues singer who met a tragic, unexplained end. Captivated and increasingly obsessed with the haunting voice on the reel-to-reel tape, Jacob begins an investigation into her past. However, playing the recording unleashes an insidious, malevolent entity. As Jacob falls deeper under the seductive spell of the evil spirit, the demonic presence begins to violently terrorize Haley. With her husband becoming unrecognizable and their marriage pushed to the brink, Haley must rely on her spiritual faith to confront the demonic forces and save her husband's soul before it's too late.
