An isolated grave near the village of Cojocna was created in 1940, after the border imposed by the Second Vienna Award prevented a family from burying their dead in the local cemetery. Decades later, this major historical trauma became the starting point for an international Land Art project.
Combining archival material, oral testimonies and the observation of an artistic process, the film connects a private historical tragedy with its lasting presence in the landscape and collective memory.

Un mormânt izolat din apropierea satului Cojocna a apărut în 1940, după ce granița impusă prin Dictatul de la Viena a împiedicat o familie să-și îngroape mortul în cimitirul local. Peste decenii, această traumă istorică majoră a devenit punctul de plecare al unui proiect internațional de Land Art.
Combinând materiale de arhivă, mărturii orale și observarea unui proces artistic, filmul leagă o tragedie istorică privată de prezența ei persistentă în peisaj și în memoria colectivă.
