A shy seminarian who is going through a crisis of faith and is not sure if he really wants to dedicate his life to the church. But when his seriously ill father expresses his last wish - to see his grandson before he dies, Jeff's life changes dramatically. Since his carefree brother Tom is unable to fulfill his father's request, Jeff leaves the seminary and decides to do everything he can for his father. He gets a job as an acting coach at a home for elderly actors, tries to meet women, turns to an unusual psychologist and even places an ad for dating. However, all his attempts end in failure. Meanwhile, a cute colleague, Katie, appears next to him, with whom Jeff gradually spends more and more time.
