When we arrive at places throughout Washington, DC, it's becoming increasingly common to encounter members of the National Guard stationed across the city. In this video, four Guard members can be seen standing watch near a residential area as part of the security measures implemented under the administration of President Donald Trump.

Supporters argue that their presence helps deter crime, strengthen public safety, and provide reassurance to residents and visitors. Others question whether a prolonged National Guard presence is necessary in the nation's capital and what its long-term impact could be.
